Refund Policy

Nova Integrata: Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies (NIJMS) operates with transparency and fairness in all financial transactions. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which authors or contributors may be eligible for a refund of publication-related fees.

1.     General Policy

o   All publication fees (e.g., Article Processing Charges – APC) are collected only after acceptance of a manuscript.

o   Fees cover the cost of editorial processing, peer review management, production, and online hosting, and are generally non-refundable once payment has been made.

2.     Refund Eligibility
A full or partial refund may be granted under the following conditions:

o   Duplicate Payment: If an author has made more than one payment for the same article, the extra payment will be refunded in full.

o   Technical/Processing Error: If payment was processed due to an administrative error by the journal.

o   Journal-Initiated Withdrawal: If the journal withdraws an article before publication due to reasons not related to author misconduct or ethical violations.

3.     Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:

o   Withdrawal by the author after acceptance (except in exceptional editorial-approved cases).

o   Retraction due to plagiarism, ethical breaches, or other forms of academic misconduct.

o   Delays in publication caused by the author’s failure to respond to editorial or production queries in a timely manner.

4.     Partial Refunds
In rare, editor-approved cases (e.g., partial work completed), a proportional refund may be issued based on the stage of publication.

5.     Refund Process

o   Requests must be made in writing to the editorial office, stating the article title, author names, payment receipt, and reason for refund.

o   Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 14–30 business days.

o   Any transaction charges deducted by banks or payment gateways are the responsibility of the payee.
